# Connect your AI agent to Kindling Kitsilano

Kindling Kitsilano (Kitsilano, Vancouver community events) runs a public MCP server so any AI agent can always know what's on in Kitsilano, and can RSVP, suggest events, offer a space or volunteer for its user. Free, no login, no API key.

**MCP server URL:** https://kitskindling.ca/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless)

Tools: `list_events` (upcoming events, filter by date or keyword, includes events still being planned), `next_event`, `get_event` (by id), `about_kindling` (how to join, follow, subscribe, suggest an event).

Action tools (each sends a message to the organisers on the user's behalf; confirm the details with the user first, and use their real name and email/phone): `rsvp` (sign up for an event, with guests and a note), `suggest_event`, `offer_space`, `offer_help` (volunteer for something an event still needs), `list_event` (a local business, club or neighbour lists their own event on the calendar; organisers review it first and only approved ones appear). An organiser follows up personally.

## Setup message (paste into your AI after adding the connector)

> Please connect to Kindling Kits: https://kitskindling.ca/mcp (no login needed). Kindling Kits runs community events in Kitsilano, Vancouver. If you can't connect it yourself, tell me exactly how to do it in this app.
>
> Once it's connected, every Monday morning check what's coming up in the next two weeks and send me a short summary: what, when, where, and anything that still needs a hand. Mention anything new since last week. If you can't run weekly tasks, set me a weekly reminder instead, or tell me how.
>
> If you can't connect, read https://kitskindling.ca/llms.txt instead.
