Use Muse, ChatGPT, Claude or another AI assistant? Connect it to Kindling once and it'll keep you posted on what's happening in Kits.
1. Add Kindling to your AI
https://kitskindling.ca/mcpChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode. Then Create, name it Kindling Kits, paste the link and set authentication to None.
Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Kindling Kits and paste the link.
Muse, Meta AI, Gemini and others: if there's no place to add a connector, skip straight to step 2. The message tells your AI to check our website instead.
Menus move around. If yours looks different, look for "connector" or "add app".
2. Paste this into a new chat
Please connect to Kindling Kits: https://kitskindling.ca/mcp (no login needed). Kindling Kits runs community events in Kitsilano, Vancouver. If you can't connect it yourself, tell me exactly how to do it in this app.
Once it's connected, every Monday morning check what's coming up in the next two weeks and send me a short summary: what, when, where, and anything that still needs a hand. Mention anything new since last week. If you can't run weekly tasks, set me a weekly reminder instead, or tell me how.

That's it. Every week your AI will tell you what's on. You can also just ask it things like:
- "What's the next Kindling event, and can I bring a friend?"
- "Anything social happening near Kits Beach in December?"
- "Which events still need help?"
It can do the things the website does for you too:
- "Put me down for trivia night, I'm bringing a friend."
- "Tell Kindling I can host the supper club at my place."
- "Suggest a board games night to Kindling."
- "Let them know they can use our back yard for summer events."
Good to know
Your AI should check with you before it sends anything to us. When it RSVPs or offers help, it passes on your name and an email or phone number so one of us can get back to you. We only use those for Kindling events and never share them. Nothing gets posted publicly. More in our privacy note.
Not into AI? Add our calendar to your phone and new events show up on their own.
